Name says quick and easy, but it is no compromise on flavour!

Cooking Oil | 1/2 Cup |
Red chilli powder | 1/2 Tablespoon |
Turmeric powder | 1/2 Teaspoon |
Coriander powder | 1 Tablespoon |
Cumin powder | 1 Teaspoon |
Crushed red chilli | 1 Teaspoon |
Black peppercorns | 10 |
Green Cardamom | 3 |
Yogurt | 3 Tablespoons |
Ginger-garlic paste | 1 Tablespoon |
Chickpeas | 1 Can |
Fresh Coriander |
- Heat the cooking oil in a pan
- Add the masalas to the oil- Red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder
- Crush the black peppercorns and cardamom pods and add to the pan
- Mix well
- Add the yogurt
- Add the ginger garlic paste
- Mix well and cook for 2 minutes
- Add the chickpeas
- Add 1 cup water
- Add crushed red chilli
- Mix well
- Cook on medium flame for 8 minutes
- Add fresh coriander. Optional: Garnish with thinly sliced pieces of ginger and green chilli
- Serve with rice or roti
